He managed to complete the run without using infinite weapons (including the knife), having only "Matilda" pistol, the Shotgun and the Flamethrower. This means that you have more than 2 hours of fooling around, searching more weapons, and other stuff if you may like. He managed to complete the run in less than 1:20 hrs, which is pretty awesome since you will have up to 3:30 hrs to complete the run. The guy who did the speed run was playing on Hardcore (more tougher enemies, bosses, you know). I found a speed run video on YouTube, it was really helpful because the following reasons: You'll only need to worry for time counter. If you want to get S+ rank, then you'll have to save up to 3 times, but we only require S rank, so it's okay if you save 20 times. You can save all the times you want, since it will not affect your final rank. If you don't have any, don't worry, it's not that bad if you try in Standard. Although, the only one you can have (besides Infinite Knife) will be the Samurai Edge pistol. If you already have an infinite ammo weapon you can use it (since it will not affect on your final rank). When fighting Birkin 3G, you'll want to use (again) the Flamethrower, but normal grenades and flash grenades too. Use the Flamethrower on Birkin 2G, it's super easy and simple to down him and use the crane. This knife is very useful with Birkin 1G and Super Tyrant near the end. You can use Infinite Knife until the very end (if you already destroyed all Mr. Play "A" Scenario for Leon, because it adds you 30 minutes extra than "B" Scenario.
I did this personally in 1:43 hrs approximately. The description is pretty self explanatory, but I'll give you some tips and advices. Claire's history is more "sentimental" if you may like to call it that way. Leon history is majority "action" style (compared to Claire's) because you don't have a kid laying around that needs your attention, and you don't waste any time in the segments. You'll need to complete Leon Kennedy history in less than 3:30 hrs playing in Standard or less than 2:30 hrs in Hardcore (don't bother with this one yet). This achievement is not as bad as you may think.
